I Know This To Be True

I know that in order to find peace, love & belonging, we must find these things within ourselves first. Honouring ourselves is a difficult path to choose, but it’s a choice worth making. Self discovery will be the greatest gift you ever give yourself. Get in touch with yourself – commit & keep re-committing to your well-being.

I know that life is short & this one chance is all we have for certain. They say the bad news is that time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot. What will you do with the time you’ve been given?

I know that inside us all live two voices: one that uplifts & empowers, one that limits & belittles. The one we end up listening to is the one we feed the most. Which will you feed?

I know that loneliness kills. Good relationships keep us happier and healthier. Surround yourself with the right people for YOU. It’s not quantity but quality that matters.

I know that those who dream big & pursue their purpose are often the ones that encounter life’s greatest obstacles. Life challenges us so that we may become the people that we need to be for the life we want to live. Our struggles have purpose. Every experience is an opportunity to grow. So dream big – and without boundaries.

I know that choice is the most powerful thing we own. Every moment, we have the ability to choose who we are and who we want to become. Embrace the journey you are on, trust the process and the path, but know that at any point you can choose to change direction.

I know that life can be messy, that we won’t ever have it all figured out. It won’t always make sense & we won’t always have control, but it’s ours to live, on our own terms & in our own way. And trust me, it will be worth it.

I know that we are the authors of our own narratives & our stories matter. Our ability to share our story helps us forge connection.

Connect with who you are.

Connect with those around you.

Connect with moments that matter.

Connect with the life you want to be living.

“Start now. Start where you are. Start with fear. Start with pain. Start with doubt. Start with hands shaking. Start with voice trembling, but start. Start where you are with what you have. Just start.”
