DAY 8 – Releasing Scarcity Conditioning

SOMATIC AWARENESS PRACTICE:  “Noticing Scarcity in the Body”

Purpose:
To identify how scarcity shows up somatically and begin loosening its hold.

Duration:
6:11 minutes

Why it works:
Scarcity is often a bodily habit rather than a current reality. By bringing awareness to how it lives in the body, this practice allows outdated patterns to soften without force.

Rewriting Scarcity Stories

Journaling + Reflection Exercise

Identifying Scarcity Narratives

Complete the sentences honestly:

  • “I often worry there won’t be enough ___.”
  • “I feel pressure to ___ before it’s too late.”
  • “I struggle to trust that ___ will work out.”
  • “I learned early that I needed to ___ to be okay.”

Let the answers come without censorship.

Origin Reflection

Choose one belief and reflect:

  • Where did I learn this?
  • Who modelled this for me?
  • How did this belief help me at the time?

This honours the intelligence of your adaptation.

Updating the Belief

Now gently ask:

  • Is this belief still accurate in my current life?
  • What evidence exists that things are different now?
  • What new belief feels more honest, not overly positive?

Examples:
“I don’t have to rush to be okay.”
“Support shows up in ways I didn’t expect.”
“I can take things one step at a time.”

Integration Statement

Place a hand on your chest and complete:

“I am learning to live from a place of ___ instead of scarcity.”

Write what feels true today – even if it’s subtle.

Closing Reflection

Scarcity is learned.
So is expansion.
I am allowed to update my story.
