DAY 13 – Opening the Heart
GENTLE PRACTICE: “Allowing Warmth”
Purpose:
To gently soften protective patterns around the heart and increase emotional availability.
Duration:
9:15 minutes
Why it works:
The heart opens through safety and gradual exposure, not pressure. This practice helps goodness land more fully when it arrives.
Heart Awareness
Journalling + Integration Exercise
Reflection Prompts
1. When I soften emotionally, I notice…
Describe sensations, not stories.
2. What experiences help my heart feel open and at ease?
(nature, music, touch, connection, creativity)
3. What tends to make me close off or guard myself?
Awareness Inquiry
Complete the sentences:
- “I allow myself to receive when ___.”
- “I protect my heart when ___.”
Notice if protection is still needed — or if it’s simply habitual.
Integration Practice
Throughout today, notice one moment where something good touches you – a smile, a kind word, a beautiful view, a moment of calm.
Pause for a breath and let it register.
Closing Statement
Read slowly:
“I don’t have to harden to stay safe.”
“I can let goodness reach me.”
